Level 2 Award for Close Protection Operatives in the Private Security Industry (Top Up) has been developed for learners who currently hold a licence from the Security Industry Authority (SIA) to work as a close protection operative and need to be brought up to date with the new licence-linked qualifications requirements.


Assessment: E-Assessment multiple-choice exam and practical assessment

Duration:  3 days

SKILLS PREREQUISITES

  • Existing Close Protection qualification that needs updating
  • Be able to communicate and command effectively in written and spoken English
  • A regulated current First-Aid Level 3 or similar medical certification with a minimum of 12 months valid
  • Pre-Course ACT (Action Counters Terrorism) Online Training, dated within the past 12 months

REQUIRED EQUIPMENT

  • Casual clothing (Jeans, t-shirt, polo, comfortable footwear)
