Level 3 Award for Close Protection Operatives in the Private Security Industry has been developed for learners who wishes to apply for a licence from the Security Industry Authority (SIA) to work as a Close Protection Operative.

SKILLS PREREQUISITES
- Be able to communicate and command effectively in written and spoken English
- Good ICT, computer based literacy and knowledge of Microsoft Word
- A regulated current First-Aid Level 3 or similar medical certification with a minimum of 12 months valid
- Pre-Course ACT (Action Counters Terrorism) Online Training, dated within the past 12 months
REQUIRED EQUIPMENT
- Casual clothing (Jeans, t-shirt, polo, comfortable footwear)
- Smart wear (Dark Suit, shirt, tie and shoes)
- Windows Laptop computer running Microsoft Word 2010 or later
